Remember my post about plastic bags and the local supermarket about half a year ago? How it took just a tiny shift in perspective and mindset to go from feeling guilty and upset to seeing a business opportunity?
It was one of the first win-win posts.
I just walked into the same supermarket. Guess what was prominently displayed at the entrance?
Two sets of environmentally friendly bags, one cheap, one more expensive version, with the logo of the supermarket, a price tag that I'm assuming may mean a nice profit, and a souvenir for tourists to take home.
It took quite a few discussions in a language I still hardly speak, and a bit of free research on my end, and a bit of time, but it's here! And everyone benefits, including wildlife in the nature reserve and ocean, which will have a bit less plastic to eat and die from.
